Doris Messa ist vor sechs Jahren nach Deutschland geflüchtet und seitdem von Abschiebung bedroht. Bereits zwei Male konnte sie sich erfolgreich gegen eine anstehende Abschiebung wehren. Im September 2016 wurde sie mitten in der Nacht gewaltsam aus einer Flüchtlingsunterkunft abtransportiert und zum Flughafen gebracht. Diese Zwangsabschiebung wurde verhindert, weil der Pilot des Flugzeugs sich weigerte, sie in ihrem Zustand mitzunehmen. Doris hat sich mit anderen Frauen in ähnlichen Situationen zusammengeschlossen und ist Aktivistin im International Womenspace.

Doris Messa fled to Germany 6 years ago and has been under threat of deportation ever since. She has already successfully defended herself against two deportation attempts. In the middle of the night in September 2016 she was violently removed from her refugee accommodation and brought to the airport. This forced deportation was prevented because the pilot of the airplane refused to take Doris in her condition. Doris decided to join forces with other women in similar situations and became an activist in International Womenspace.

Ivanka Sinani, 42 Jahre, kommt aus Serbien und ist eine Roma-Aktivistin. Sie ist Mutter von drei Kindern und lebt in Münster. 1995 bis 2003 wohnte sie als Flüchtling in Deutschland und musste 2003 Deutschland „freiwillig“ verlassen. Heute arbeitet sie mit Jugendlichen zum Thema Diskriminierung von Roma und Flüchtlingen.

Ivanka Sinani, 42, is a Roma activist from Serbia. She is a mother of three children and lives in Münster. From 1995 to 2003 she lived in Germany as a refugee but had to leave Germany „voluntarily“ in 2003. Today she works with youth on the topic of discrimination against Roma and refugees.

Jacqueline Maffo ist Mitbegründerin von Women in Exile e.V. und Interkulturelle Frauengruppe in Potsdam. Jacqueline kommt aus Kamerun und wohnt seit 1995 in Potsdam. Zusammen mit fünf Frauen hat sie den Verein Women in Exile e.V. gegründet. Als Vertretung für die Frauen in Potsdam hat sie viele Veranstaltungen und Demonstrationen organisiert und dafür mobilisiert. Vor sechs Jahren hat sie die „Interkulturelle Frauengruppe“ in Potsdam gegründet. Ihnen ist es wichtig, dass auch Frauen mit Kindern sich treffen und organisieren, ihre Probleme lösen und sich gegenseitig unterstützen. Es geht darum, dass auch die Kinder zusammenkommen, ihre Kultur kennenlernen und miteinander teilen. Jacquelines Ziel ist es, dass jede Frau sich traut frei zu sprechen, frei zu sein, ihre Meinung zu sagen und ein wichtiger Teil der Gesellschaft zu sein.

Jacqueline Maffo is a co-founder of Women in Exile e.V. and the Intercultural Women’s Group in Potsdam. Jacqueline is from Cameroon and has lived in Potsdam since 1995. Together with five other women she founded the association Women in Exile e.V. As a representative of the women in Potsdam, she has organised and mobilized for many events and demonstrations. Six years ago she founded the „Interkulturelle Frauengruppe“ (Intercultural Women’s Group) in Potsdam. For the members of this group it is important that women with children can come together to organise, solve their problems and support one other. The group is also intended for the children to get to know each other and their cultures, and to learn to share with one another. Jacqueline’s aim is that every women feels encouraged to speak, to be free, to state her opinion and to be an important part of society.

Masture Hares kam 2010 nach Deutschland und wurde noch im gleichen Jahr als Flüchtling anerkannt. In Afghanistan hat sie als Journalistin und politische Aktivistin in Frauenorganisationen gegen frühzeitliche Ehe und Zwangsehe/Zwangsheirat gekämpft. Sie hat eng mit Malalai Joya, der ehemaligen Abgeordneten der Nationalversammlung Afghanistans, zusammengearbeitet. Aufgrund ihrer Beteiligung an Frauenrechtskämpfen wurde sie durch Warlords heftig verfolgt und musste aus dem Land fliehen.

Masture Hares came to Germany in 2010 and in the same year was granted asylum. In Afghanistan, she has worked as a journalist as well as a political activist in different women’s organizations fighting against forced and early marriage. She has worked closely with Malalai Joya, the former Parliamentarian for the National Assembly of Afghanistan. Because of her involvement in the women’s rights struggle, she was heavily persecuted by Warlords and had to flee the country.

Asma-Esmeralda Abd’Allah-Álvarez Ramírez ist eine schwarze, queere, transkulturelle Aktivistin. Als gebürtige Kubanerin kam sie im Alter von sechs Jahren mit ihren Eltern nach Deutschland. Sie hat unter anderem als Übersetzerin und Kunstvermittlerin gearbeitet. Zuletzt war sie als Beraterin im Flüchtlingsbüro des Kargah e.V. tätig. Sie ist aktiv in der Initiative Schwarzer Menschen in Deutschland (ISD) und bei Radio Flora.

Asma-Esmeralda Abd’Allah-Álvarez Ramírez is a black, queer, transcultural activist. As a native Cuban she arrived with her parents in Germany at the age of six. Among other things, she has worked as a translator and cultural mediator. Most recently, she worked as a counsellor at the refugee office of Kargah e.V. She is active in the Initiative of Black people in Germany (ISD) and at Radio Flora.

Trong tháng 10 năm 2017 tại Béc-lin International Womenspace (IWS) đã tổ chức một hội thảo kéo dài hai ngày. Tại sáu cuộc thảo luận tại hội thảo, những người phụ nữ trước đây đến Tây Đức làm thợ khách, những phụ nữ đến Đông Đức làm công nhân hợp đồng, những phụ nữ nhập cư, những phụ nữ đến lánh nạn ở nước Đức thống nhất cũng như những phụ nữ Đức bị ảnh hưởng bởi nạn phân biệt chủng tộc đã cùng nhau chia sẻ những kinh nghiệm của mình. Các diễn giả sẽ nói về việc họ đã đến Đức như thế nào, công việc và cuộc sống ở đây, cũng như tổ chức chính trị do họ khởi lập ở đất nước này. Chúng tôi muốn kết nối kiến ​​thức của nhiều thế hệ phụ nữ nhập cư, so sánh chúng và đưa chúng vào các bối cảnh lịch sử. Chúng tôi muốn tạo ra một không gian để phụ nữ chúng ta có thể chia sẻ kinh nghiệm cá nhân và kinh nghiệm chung. Trong suốt cả quá trình, trước và trong khi hội nghị diễn ra và cả khi nó đã kết thúc đã chúng tôi đều cảm thấy vô cùng xúc động và được truyền cảm hứng một cách mạnh mẽ. Mỗi ngày có tới 250 phụ nữ đã cùng đến đây, cùng trao đổi những kinh nghiệm về đấu tranh và phản đối chính trị ở nước Đức. Họ đã cùng học hỏi lẫn nhau qua những câu chuyện về các thế hệ khác nhau ở Đông, Tây Đức cũng như nước Đức thống nhất sau này. Họ đã cùng gặp gỡ, làm quen, cùng xây lên những mạng lưới. Dù có bất đồng về mặt ngôn ngữ, tất cả những hoạt động trên đã đều diễn ra một cách tốt đẹp nhờ vào công tác phiên dịch trực tiếp qua 6 ngôn ngữ: tiếng Đức, Anh, Ả rập, Ba Tư, Thổ Nhĩ Kì và Việt Nam. Chính cầu nối về mặt ngôn ngữ này đã giúp tạo ra một không khí vô cùng cởi mở và đoàn kết, trong đó cả những người diễn thuyết lẫn những người tham gia đều có thể mạnh dạn nói về những kinh nghiệm cá nhân của mình. Phản hồi từ phía những người tham gia cho thấy, những hội nghị kiểu như thế này là vô cùng cần thiết. Họ cũng có nguyện vọng tiếp tục trao đổi với nhau, cùng nhau hợp tác và hành động chính trị. Chúng tôi nhìn nhận, đây là hội nghị mang tính chất khởi đầu, và cũng rất mong chờ những bước đi tiếp theo của chúng ta.
