Refugee movements have struggled for decades against being forced to use vouchers instead of getting money, which were finally abolished in 2014. And yet, ten years later, the German government decided to implement the Bezahlkarte nationwide, with a different name but under the same system.

The conference aims to organize politically, socially, and legally to counter and anticipate the coming implementation of Bezahlkarte in Berlin and Brandenburg. We want to start new protests against the Bezahlkarte.
