When The Jackal Leaves The Sun: Decentering Restitution | Pedagogies of Repossession
The public programme of WHEN THE JACKAL LEAVES THE SUN marks the culmination of an incredible journey through various locations and narratives, and operates as a space to further develop critical perspectives on decolonial narratives, transformative justice, and the unique capacity of art in reclaiming cultural heritage, ancestral knowledge, as well as inciting change within our (eco)systems. The public programme will operate as a contact zone bringing together project collaborators across the six Chapters as well as artists, cultural organisers, and activists based in Berlin and abroad. Come join us for a transformative week of conversations, performances, film-screenings and exhibitions at Flutgraben in Berlin as we work towards the shared goal of amplifying the demands of descendants and indigenous communities for return, repair, and land reform! Design by aziza.
