Violence prevention workshop for women*

Violence prevention workshop for women* organized by RISS e.V.

– What is violence according to German law?
– How can I protect myself and my family or other women*?
– Can I get support if I do no speak German?
– When as a victim, I am obligated to report violence?
– Is Jugendamt gonna to help or hurt?

We will answer those and more questions about assistance and legal aspects of violence against women in Germany.

Workshop will be lead by: Monika Abdelaziz who works in the intercultural counseling and meeting center BOX66 as a counselor for women and in shelter for homeless women with children. As part of the project MiMi Gewaltvorävention, she works as a mediator and consultant. The aim of the project is to inform, support and accompany women affected by violence.

It’s free of charge and will be held in English. If you have any special needs which need to be accommodated, please let us know by e-mail.
