A gathering in Groß Köris – a Break Isolation Group weekend
A glimpse of what transpired when our Break Isolation Group convened in Groß Köris for the weekend. “We all met there, at least 9 different nationalities represented, we had fun…danced, listened to music, celebrated culture, enjoyed tasty food, tried our hand(s) at boxing, went for a swimming and much, much more!"

Eröffnung der Ausstellung “O-Platz: Selbstermächtigung und Kämpfe der Migration” im FHXB Museum
Wir laden Euch herzlich zu der Ausstellung „O-Platz: Selbstermächtigung und Kämpfe der Migration“ ein. Mit dieser Ausstellung stellen wir die 10-jährige Selbstermächtigungsgeschichte geflüchteter Menschen, die in der Besetzung des Oranienplatzes und später auch innerhalb der Gerhart-Hauptmann-Schule in der Ohlauer Straße ihren Höhepunkt fanden, wieder in den Fokus der Gesellschaft.

Pressemitteilung: Menschenunwürdige Massenabschiebung nach Kenia am 26. Oktober!
In der Nacht vom 25./26. Oktober fand eine Sammelabschiebung nach Kenia statt. Rund 100 Personen aus dem gesamten Bundesgebiet wurden in den frühen Morgenstunden in Halle/Leipzig gesammelt und mit einem Flug der Gesellschaft Iberojet nach Nairobi abgeschoben - gegen ihren Willen und ohne jegliche Vorankündigung. Dies ist nur eine der vielen Abschiebungen, die unter anderem nach Gambia, Senegal, Ghana, Monrovia, Pakistan, Georgien, Serbien, Albanien, Bulgarien und in andere Teile Osteuropas stattfinden.

Meetings for third country national women from Ukraine at Frieda Frauenzentrum
We are collaborating with the Frieda Frauenzentrum (Women’s Center) in Friedrichshain: We offer a safe space for women of third country nationalities fleeing the war in Ukraine. A space for women to get advice, exchange experiences, meet and chill. We provide psychosocial counselling, help with paperwork, hot meals, a kitchen for those who want to cook their own food, play area for children and various social activities.
